At such a tender age

At such a tender age
Don't treat them like birds in a cage.
At such a tender age
When they should be playing wizard and mage.
Don't treat them like birds in a cage.
We know you care
We know you love
But a moment you can spare
When they wish to fly high above.
You want to see them succeed.
You want to see them bloom.
But children should be freed
Not imprisoned in a room.
Give them the love they deserve
But don't force it on them
Sometimes its better just to observe
To make the unpolished a polished gem.

*this poem is about when parents nag children alot and they end up feeling bad about themselves its important to understand that children are like small birds and should not be imprisoned in a cage.*
