Turn it off

They shut down their emotions and expect you 

To do the same 

"Turn it off" they say 

They propagate cliched propaganda "Life is a game" 

To evil and devil they pray 

They tell you that the world is cruel, it's merciless and unkind 

For them it's not black and white but gray 

They pull you from loving, saying it's something you can never find 

Something that lives far far away they say 

They tell you to hide who you are, "don't live so loud" they preach 

"The world will chew you up and spit you out"

They make hate look good, and love look bad, and that is what they teach 

They are you, you are me, that is what we're all about, I see.
